Utah Zombie Task Force
In the current procedures at the Redwood campus, there are four locations at are found in the North, East, West, and South directions of the campus. Although, this is an issue due visibility is blocked and we won’t be able to see the oncoming Zombie hoard heading to the Redwood campus. The only things that would get our attention are unconventional accidents or disturbing noise in the background. In order to dispatch and keep up to date with on-coming events, the campus security will venture the borders of the Redwood campus for any suspicious activities. Radios, cell phones, and SLCC student email notifications great source to informing the surrounding public. If not, Facebook would be the second best source of communication by letting the general public know if they have the SLCC Facebook page. Also, we are working with the Utah amateur radio club about radio technology as well as building a radio from scratch if needed for the Redwood campus. Handheld walkies are great but have a small range of communicating with staff and faculty while on campus. The campus TV sets can also be used to inform the students on what is happening on the Redwood campus.
Communication
In addition to communicating with the other SLCC campuses and the two command centers located in the valley, the SLL also is communicating with other organizations in the city that are providing medical care, food, shelter and other services. Through this communication, the SLL is able to provide information to anyone who is in need of these things. Links to their individual websites can be found below.
